The famous and rare 1918 "Inverted Jenny" airmail stamp will be on display at the Spellman Museum from April 26 to May 5 during regular museum hours.

For the coming celebrations, the museum will be borrowing from the American Philatelic Society the legendary 24 cent stamp from 1918 featuring an inverted image of a Curtiss Jenny airplane said to be worth $200,000 in mint condition.

Hi

A member of the Atlanta Stamp Club, Clifford Cole (now deceased), had an invert Jenny. He once brought it to a club meeting and the members were able to hold it in their hands. He also had all US inverts, including the Rush Lamp, and showed them at club meetings.
