So, I finally completed the 2001 supplement for what I am calling the Community US Stamp album. Pages include all Scott Major numbers, all se-tenants connected and pictures and descriptions for all the stamps included. The PDF file for the supplement can be found on my blog here: http://stamphacks.com/wp/?p=590Screenshot of page 12:

Superb work, Andy. Makes me almost want to convert over to your pages. Almost! I like your set-up much better than Mystics, but I'm lazy. You have a logical sense of keeping se-tenants together. Not that I'm at all bitter about the stupid mistakes Mystic repeated makes. What were they thinking in splitting up this year's Santa and His Sleigh (#4712-4715)? Makes absolutely no sense. If you decide to design the 2013 pages relatively soon after the new year, I'd be perfectly content to wait, forego Mystic's supplement, and use yours instead. Again, bravo on your work. I have some used copies of 2001 issues that you're welcome to, but I believe you would prefer mint and I'm flat out. |

Yeah, I am a mint guy, but thanks for the offer.
Mystic lays out it's album based on the inventory of their stamps. If they can get more stamps by splitting up a page into individuals, then they'll do that and make Heirloom pages to allow people to mount stamps that way.

Beautiful.
Forgive me, but would I be out of line correcting a very very minor detail?
I believe the word "Santa" is misspelled ("The four images of Sants shown...") in the caption under the Booklet for "Holiday Santas October 10, 2001" on page 12 screenshot.
I do not have enough posts to send a PM otherwise I would have done this off list. Once again, beautiful work. Kind Regards,
Ron |

Thanks for catching that. I'll try and correct it over the weekend. Once again, I did not let my wife proofread.... Sigh... |

Wonderful job. I understand the need for a wife to proofread for me. My wife has made my writing seem like it's from an educated person LOL. Dan |

I scanned the 2001 pages with stamps on them. For the curious, feel free to check them out here: http://stamphacks.com/wp/?p=595EDIT: Got my account un-suspended. Stupid crackers messing with my site. |

I'm sure there is a very simple answer to my fairly dumb question, but what page size is this geared to? I.e. can I center and print it on larger than 8 1/2 X 11 paper? The reason I'm asking is probably obvious. Also, what is the best (and cheapest) source for "archival" paper for printing? Does Office Depot, Staples, etc., have the proper paper? All my albums are three hole binders, so do I need to get a "3 hole punch"? I know these questions sound basic, but just want to know what you guys are doing before I waste a bunch of paper and ink! I'm currently using Mystic Herritage and Heirloom albums. Thanks! Larry |

You should be able to print on any size paper you want, as long as you don't scale when you print.
You can get 100% cotton paper at Staples, which is considered Archival, since cotton is completely pH neutral and the paper in lingin free.
Other than cotton paper, you'd probably need to go to a specialty paper store to buy buffered archival paper. |

So, is there any interest in pages with seperated se-tenants for used collectors? |

As a used collector, when presented with an album space for a block of four, and I only have the individual stamps, I would simply mount them in the block of four space in the proper arrangement. |

I haven't started an album yet, but I think I would agree with smauggie. I'd rather see the the se-tenants displayed together, even if I'm collecting them as used separates. There's always the possibility of finding a used block! |

Great work! Thank You! Are you using Mystic paper in your 2001 Sup and other pages, or are you using your own paper? If using your own, where are you getting it? Thanks. Larry |

I'm using my own paper. Staples 65 lb. acid-free coverstock, Ivory color. |
