The only 40 lepta in brown is Scott #42 and possibly #42a.

It's possible that the stamp's a very faded "salmon," which would be #37 or #48. There is already a "48" on the back of the stamp, but certainly it is not #52, which is a 60 lepta.

I understand very well that the Greek stamps difficult to study, and for this I am here to ask if there is someone who has information on these stamps, and you must know that I whole stamps classical world and envelopes of the world 20 years ago.
I have checked all threads by you and I you to comment on it, and you did not add any significant information, but only make it more difficult without any evidence.
