It is hard to tell from your scans.
Can you get a very close-up scan, especially the main area you think shows a re-entry?

Unlikely from what I can see. The only known re-entry on this stamp shows doubling at bottom of oval frame, also in 8 and around cents. I can't see any from the scan provided.

Your stamp does not have a re-entry. It looks like the plate was slightly over-inked and when your stamp was printed (that is, the sheet of stamps), the extra ink was pushed up a bit.
Nice large scans.
