I have 3 stamps that I had put aside to look
into when I found some time. Last week I read about
a forgery of one of these and decided to put the 3 of
them in front of you for information.....

sad news -----the Australian blue stamp is real but too damaged to have any value ,the green Roman States stamp is a reprint and of little value .The British cut out is a revenue stamp and is very common .

The first will be listed under Tasmania. It is missing the Four Pence value tablet on the bottom. I think yours is canceled with the killer for Launceston.

The second is Roman States 19, from 1868. Most are forgeries or reprints. According to Scott, reprints are generally perf 11.5 and originals were perf 13.

The third is a revenue from Great Britain, used September 13, 1886.

The 1d could be any number of issues, depending on watermark and perfs. I really like the design.
