What is/are the specialized catalog(s) that list (and perhaps price) the varieties of the early Czechoslovakia stamps, including but not limited to the Hradcany Castle issues?
And on the castle issues, are some private perforation types more sought after than others?
Thanks in advance for any insight into this!

Thanks, Kim!
I'll take it as a credit to my improving research skills (inspired by you and others) that I had seen all of these links except one (the first one). Thanks very much!
But there is at least one, if not two, print catalogs that I see referred to in some of the discussions (including the Hradcany thread on here), but they're not named. I have some guesses as to which they might be, but was hoping to see if I could find out for sure.
Thanks, Kim!

I should add that I have the Michel pages for Czechoslovakia, and they say that paper and perforation varieties abound. That's usually the clue that there are specialist publications that cover those details.

Bummer ... That first line showed correctly in Japanese in the draft window and in the preview pane.
In R#333;maji:
Purahanoaki: D#333;mo arigat#333; gozaimasu!

Doitashima e, Dave! I know what you mean, once I've tried to type Japanese on this board, it didn't work either. Here is how a copy of Pofis look like. http://www.filatelie-stosek.cz/index.php?d=121683It shouldn't be difficult to find since effectively large amount are being printed. khj, hahaha yeah I guess so. But there is a page in English (and also German I think) explaining Czech terminologies used in the book. The catalog itself does not contain that much text but lot's of pictures!. and it veeeery maniac sometime like... 0.01mm difference in watermarks and other extremely detailed stuff. |

Dave, Forgot to tell you that in your case, you should get Pofis Ceskoslovensko (Czechoslovakia) 1918-1939. They are divided in several catalogs like Pofis Ceskoslovensko 1945-1992, Pofis Ceska Republika (Czech Republic) 1993-2012, Pofis Protektorat Cechy a Morava 1939-1945 (Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia) and so on... |

Praha: Thanks very much for the link to an example, as well as the elaboration about the different volumes. It is much appreciated!
Kim: What's another language on top of the ones I've already mangled?! I'm just happy to encounter one that starts off with "a, b, c ..."!

While looking at the Scott catalogue and making comparisons I have found that Scott lists the following stamps that appear not to be listed in other Czechoslovakia catalogues. They are Scott # 125 (50 h Masaryk deep green coil perforated 10 vertically) and Scott 780 (30 h Zapotocky blue perforated 12.5 from October 7, 1956). However, they may have been added in more current catalogues or I may have missed finding them in them. |
