Received my mailing of the new Great Britain Dr. Who stamps. Bunch of stuff, plus a nice cover with all 11 of the doctors attached. Thought I would share. Next maybe we could get all the Dr. Who companions on stamps! Now, getting all the rest of the stuff used is the challenge.

The Norvic Philatelics blog ( http://blog.norphil.co.uk/) calculates there are 30 different stamps in the Dr. Who issue. Currently, they report the Tardis stamp comes in two different perforation gauges. Good hunting, Robert |

Hi to all I remember in one show Dr Who saying he was the 13th Incarnation. The stamps show 11. I know Peter Cushing played the Doctor in two Dalek movies, so who was the other star, Horamakhet |

The 17 Royal Mail Doctor Who postcards are included free in this months (May) Stamp & Coin Mart magazine. The magazine costs £3.50... the free gift is worth £7.65 |

I am pleased with the set, and the rest of the items. All of it ran around $100.00 USD (including postage). Don't plan on doing that very often, but once in a bunch of years is OK. The postal cards, are just that, minus the stamps. The presentation booklets have both Dr. Who stamps and regular issue UK items. The Smilers sheet uses Tardis stamps with undenominated Dr. stamps.
Now if I can talk the BPO into Tegan and Peri issues, I would be in Dr. Who heaven. Wanna see their autographs? |

Zuzu: IF you mean the autographs, will do so tonight. If you mean the stamps, good luck. |

OK, no autos then. If you have a street address you can order them direct from the British Post Office (for some reason they will not send to PO Boxes!). |

I know, but it would be so much more fun to receive them on some mail. I'll probably try to find someone over there who would be willing to send to me. |

I am unfamiliar with how British stamps are sold. What do I need to buy to get everything? Do I need the Presentation pack? Do I need the pack and the individual stamps also? A guide from someone familiar with this would be great. |

Yes, ditto. I'm a doctor fan from the old days and would love to get the complete issue but the options on the website are daunting. |
