World Stamp Exhibition Melbourne 2013

Hi to all

I have just returned from a day at the expo, and I was it ever spectacular. I have never been to a stamp expo of this size before and it is impressive.

The displays of collections is a real eye opener and the royal collection of Australian stamps, and the other displays of collections had me wondering where had I left me diamond tipped glass cutter.

It made me realise that I need to place all my Australian Stamps in proper albums and buy a complete set of the Specialist Australian Catalogue.

Any one in Melbourne who has an opportunity should go along. Admission is ten dollars for the day and you can get pass outs.

I came home with few well illustrated catalogues that were free and also had a chance to talk to some authorities in their fields.

It ends on Wednesday the 15th of May.
