This was a big show. I should have gone on Friday or Saturday. I really had to work on Friday and I had already promised the kids we would go to the Boston Science Museum on Saturday to see "Dinosaurs Alive" at the Omni theater. I found out that Hugh Daugherty held an auction on Saturday which had a number of nice items I would have bid on.

It was busy when I got there on Sunday morning. I didn't find much in the way of revenues that really struck me as something I had to come home with. In a weak moment I found myself writing a check for a fairly nice 1847 5c Franklin. Like most US collectors, I have wanted this stamp as long as I can remember.

Next time I will go earlier and be more organized. I wanted to look over Bill Langs stock but I got hungry and had to go home for lunch. I didn't make it back.
