Very nice. I wonder why "marker monkeys" --- those postal representatives who decimate already-properly-cancelled collectible stamps posted on mail with extra sharpie marker or pens --- we're not discussed. Seemed like a great opportunity to direct PMG Donahoe to the SCF threads on this topic. The irony being he himself is a collector and should be able to relate.
Did you also catch the reference at the bottom of the above link suggesting that within the 2013 Mail Use stamps, there is a (previously unannounced?) Gingerbread Houses issue (four face different stamps). This was the first I've heard of it, so maybe its something new coming up later this year.
"Gingerbread Houses" - Interesting - this wasn't one mentioned in the Linn's CSAC leak article (at least not that I recall), although it did say Donahoe wanted to be more involved in picking stamp subjects.
