You laugh, khj, but I'm serious. I would bet that an auction that showed only the back of the stamp, with a little puffery about the mark and a link to the list of marks, would net something north of $20. You wouldn't even need a scan of the face.

Now, if it happens to be something special, and someone else scoops it up, I guess they'd have the last laugh, but hey, it's for the sake of science...
