Not finding this overprint on the 1913 type (Scott A22). Can anyone help me with a Scot number or explanation or price. Anything would help. As always thanks in advance - Jeff

In the Scott catalog, it is Turkey #568(1919). The listing in that section is rather deceptive, because Scott only shows a representative overprint. Unless you have the stamps, can read Turkish, or read the footnote above the illustration carefully, you are unlikely to realize that some of the overprints have a different appearance.

Unless there has been a number change since then, my 2011 Scott indicates #568.

Thanks for double checking, 1847bill. I know many times I type in the wrong number or accidentally skip a line when reading the catalog numbers.

At least you have an excuse.

My wife says I'm just plain stupid.

Well I was hoping no one would bring that up. It hits a little close to home. Yet out of that everyone says I have a big heart.

Somewhere my thank you got lost - so Thanks to both of you for chiming in there and helping me out. Sometimes no matter how hard I hunt, the stamp remains elusive and all of you seem to put that problem to bed with a great quick reliable answer. Thanks again - Jeff

Scott doesn't make it easy or clear. Maybe they just want to keep you on your tongs, er toes!
