I knew about the stamp, and have used them, but did not realize they had uncut press sheets too. |

I've only received one in the mail so far. I think it is a nice design and a nice stamp to use. Makes you feel part of the world. |

Quote: Just where in the world is it supposed to be showing? A quote taken from the link provided above: Quote: The stamp showcases the beauty of planet Earth with an artistic rendering — a composite of images created from satellite and 3D computer technology data. In this image, the Atlantic Ocean is flanked by North and South America, Africa and parts of Europe. Art director William J. Gicker selected this depiction of Earth by Italian artist Leonello Calvetti. Greg Breeding designed the stamp. I can't say it's the most attractive stamp ever produced by the USPS, but given its status as an definitive stamp for international rates, it will probably be around for awhile. |

I've received a couple and I don't think it's so bad. As Harry Nilsson sang, "The most beautiful world in the world, And though there are times when I doubt you, I just couldn't stay here without you, The most beautiful world in the world..." |

I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think the stamps are very attractive. As for the question what they are showing----the earth from over the Atlantic Ocean. |

Quote: I think the stamps are very attractive I should have clarified that it's not the design / Picture I find hideous, it's the Perforations and shape that for some reason turn me off. I've actually enjoyed some of this year's issues like the Muscle Cars and I'm looking forward to the johnny Cash issue. |
