I recntly purchased the colour edition of Drury and Lum's "Postage Due Stamps of Canada 1906-1928".

It features the following image:

I had not been aware of these previously. Does anyone have any information on where I may purchase one?

Thanks,

John

The wrapper is from a 1952 printing and was cancelled in 1959.

Here is the section of the 1959 Canada Official Postal Guide which deals with refused or undeliverable second class mail:

Centennial Era examples of Undeliverable Second Class Mail

Pink notice forms were affixed to ambulance envelopes indicating the amount due or reasons for non-delivery.

1. Check ebay and Delcampe often. It is amazing what pops up.

2. Go to stamp bourses and look through as many cover boxes as you can.

3. Contact the British North American Philatelic Society and find out who collects this sort of thing.

4. Be patient. It may take years for you to find a wrapper at a reasonable price.

Lorddenning,

I have established the requisite searches, as suggested. I have picked up a couple of entires with the pink labels this week.

Patience is a virtue, for sure.

Thanks,

John
