If anyone is in the Chicago / Milwaukee area this weekend the Illinois Railway Museum is having Railway Post Office Days this weekend. The website for more info is:

www.irm.org

I have been at the Museum in the past and they have a large inventory of everything pertaining to trains. Don't know what they have for RPO stuff but the website mentions that they will have:

"Operations and Demonstrations of Railway Post Office railway cars with on-the-fly mail pickups. See how railroads played a major role in the handling of the U.S. Mail."

Don't know if I will go but it might be an interesting show to go to this weekend.
