An interesting (illegal) use of postal stickers typically found in USPS lobbies:

I remember seeing a lot of the "Hello My Name Is..." stickers used for this purpose. I guess those cost money and they probably don't stick as well either.

Well, they are free for the grabs at all hours of the day or night. Not sure why anyone is surprised. Same with express/priority envelopes cut up and used for stiffeners by some ebay sellers.

This should be a cost-cutting move on the part of the USPS. They shouldn't make these things so accessible (day or night) that anyone can grab as many as they want. That's a waste.

And that would be another instance where I get punished for a bunch of reprobates. I have a few boxes and labels on hand, so I can package things when I need to and not do it at the PO or make two trips to the PO. Of course I'm not the problem, but if they do it for me, "they'll have to do it for everyone".

I've seen "slaps" in several major cool urban areas. I've been told that they are periodically removed.
It took me a second look to see the labels behind the graphics. I think the graphics are pretty cool.

A massive waste. A criminal waste.
