French Colonies And Territories

Our stamp club purchased a couple of pristine French area albums and broke them down on the specialized pages by area..all good complete sets the Syria airmails with the airplane overprints,Monaco, St. Pierre and Miquelon,Andorra,etc etc...they are offered to the club at 20 percent of catalog ..true even at 20 percent they can be pricey...50 to 100+ dollars per section...but the members will never see material like that again for that price ! they don't have to buy an individual stamp..the sets are all complete.

When I see those collections and people nervous to bid..i think about the mistakes I made..buying boxlots of junk for $150-200 with thousands of dollars in catalog value. But catalog value is worthless unless the stamps are desirable to someone..now I have lived long enough to see someones pristine collectiona available at 1/5 of cat !
