It came as part of a few album pages I acquired. It was placed in the space for Scott 14, 1859 1p Dull Rose. It is on piece (roughly cut from cover no doubt).

The stamp was cancelled with a manuscript X on the left shoulder of the lovely lady. It is hard to see unless you decompose the image.

There is no value for this stamp in my Scott catalog. Anyone know about these stamps? There is no listing for Trinidad Scott 14 in the Philatelic Foundation database.

The partial CDS cancel is no doubt a receiving cancel. Can anyone tell what is the town name?

Cheers.

It looks like perfs on the bottom and my scott (2006) says the Trinidad 14 is imperf. There are several of the same design that are perfed.

Thank you Yakboomer. Another classic case of catalog blindness on my part.

Cheers!
