6)* ANDORRA - postmark with date :4-12 43 ( 4 December 1943) and name of capital :Andorre La Vieille
The stamp and P.C. show the Valley of Andorra.

State's Area : 468 km2 ( 168 sq mi)





5)* MALTA : the postmark date " JUL 8 51 " ; stamp ( with o/p "SELF-GOVERNMENT 1947 " ) and P.C. show Fort St Angelo which is right at the centre of Grand Harbour

State's Area : 316 km2 ( 122 sq. mi )





4)LICHTENSTEIN : Postmark date and place : " 4 VIII 53 " ( 4 August 1953 ) " VADUZ" which the capital of this state.
The stamp and P.C. show the famous Lord Baden-Powell, founder of the Scout Movement and first Chief Scout of The Boy Scouts Association.

State's Area : 160 km2 ( 62 sq. mi )





3)* SAN MARINO : date " 31.-8.1957 " ( 31 August 1957).

The Republic of San Marino is the oldest surviving sovereign state and constitutional republic in the world. It is the continuation of a monastic community founded in 301 A.D. and is the last survivor of a large number of self-governing Italian communes from the Middle Ages.

State's Area : 61 km2 ( 24 sq mi)



2)* MONACO : postmark : " 26.4.52" ( 26 April 1952 ) "MUSEE DU TIMBRE " ( The Stamp Museum ) , "PALAIS DE MONACO " ( Monaco Palace ).
In the middle of the postmark there are a Crown and the monograms "R.G" which means either Rainer Grimaldi ( the name of the Principality's House ) or rather Rainer & Grace ( Rainer's famous wife Princess Grace de Monaco ( ex-Grace Kelly )
The P.C. and stamp show ( on left-hand side ) the entrance to the Stamp Museum.

State's Area : 2.02 km2 ( 0.78 sq. mi ) being the second smallest state in Europe as well as in the world




1) VATICAN : postmark was applied on Christmas Eve " 24.12.54 " ( 24 December 1954 ) by " CITTA DEL VATICANO " Post Office.

The stamp and P.C. show the statue of Pope URBAN VIII ,the masterpiece of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, statue which is inside the Basilica St Peter in Vatican.
Bernini was one of the greatest sculptor and architect of the Baroque period.

VATICA CITY STATE is the smallest state in the World having :

an Area of 44 hectares ( 110 acres ) and a population of 800.

1964 Max card fromAndorra la Vella (Catalan for the Old Andorra) capital of the Principality of Andorra, an independent country in the Pyrenees.
