I have an opportunity to purchase a bulk lot of Netherlands postage dues (mostly 1947). Is there any literature for specialised collecting of this area?
On my website there is a section about Dutch postage due stamps, also those from the colonies. It is by no means very specialized and cannot replace a catalogue, but it is a starter: http://www.pagowirense.nl/stamps/inf-pd1.asp
The Netherlands "Speciale Catalogus" ( Special Catalog ) is not bad at all as far as varieties is concerned. Look for the "NVPH Speciale catalogus" Peter.
Thanks for the responses. Is there any compelling reason for buying the most recent edition of NVPH Speciale catalogus or is the listed information (not the stated catalogue values) much the same?
There have not been new Postage Due stamps since 1958 and the Dutch postal service stopped using them many years ago. So the information you will find in a 30 years old catalogue is probably the same as in the most recent one, except for the inflational corrections of the stamps' value.
