Can someone explain me to english this:

In Michel stamp spezial catalog says:

"Platten- (P) und Walzendrucke (W), Oberranstücke (OR)"


What is it mean?
Explanation with a picture?

I believe platten is plate, Walzendrucke seems to translate to rotary printing and I am not sure about Oberranstücke.

"Oberrandstucke" (spelled incorrectly above) is a top margin copy, often with selvage bearing the number a clerk uses to compute the value of the sheet (Zahlnummer?). For a €1.20 stamp, on a 10x10 layout, the numbers on the selvage might read, left to right, 12.00, 24.00, 36.00, 48.00, etc.
