Two uncommon first day covers featuring sawfish and sharks. The first from Nicaragua, 3/12/1969, features a Largetooth Sawfish (Pristis pristis, here called Pristis antiquorum) and a Bull Shark (Carcharhinus leucas, here called Eulamia nicaraguensis). The second from El Salvador, 7/28/1971, features a Smalltooth Sawfish (Pristis pectinata, misspelled "pectinatus") and a Tiger Shark (Galeocerdo cuvier).
