I am creating a leaving gift for a friend and need a high resolution image of the Letterpress Machin from the profile on print prestige book.

I plan to add text to the image and have it printed on canvas.

Thanks in advance.

Is it this one?
If so I can scan it tonight. What resolution is best for you?

If you could drop it into dropbox and I will pick it up from there. 600 or 1200 dpi would be great.

No probs.
I have to say it is an image I wouldn't want to see too often

It has to be a 1st class stamp - which others do you think would work ?

At the top of the queens head I am putting the company name, bottom left his name and this year, bottom right - always first class to us.

Its a small retirement present.

Sorry Drew, I never meant to say it wouldn't work for your purposes.
I'm just not a fan of the design which I think was described as looking like a photocopy at the time of issue.

Hi StampStudy,

What size will the stamp image be in the final image you intend to print on to canvas. That has to be factored in at the time of scanning the stamp..

The final canvas print will be 12" x 16".

Hi StampStudy,

Then when you set the scan you must enter the resolution (600 dpi) and the final image size (12"x16"), otherwise you will end up with a heavily pixilated image at print out stage.
Hope this helps

Terry

Thanks Terry - I asked Anthony for a 600 or 1200 dpi image so hopefully it will work out. I also need to add text to the image.

I will definitely post pictures when I get the canvas back.
