While the Admiral Canada stamps are known in perforation 12 (11.93/Kiusalas 66) for regular sheet and booklet stamp issues and perforation 8 (7.95/Kiusalas 99) and 12 (11.93/Kiusalas 66) for coil stamp issues, has anyone come across copies that are perforation 11.75 (Kiusalas 67?) or anything around that and 12.02 (Kiusalas 65.5? or 12.11/Kiusalas 65?) or anything else which has been mentioned by some philatelists which also maintain the same thing for Jubilee, Maple Leaf, Numeral, Edward VII and Scroll issues from 1897 to 1929?
Both George C. Marler and Hans Reiche explored this topic. Marler discusses it on pages 59-62 of his 1982 book on the Admirals. He found variations in the horizontal and vertical perforations going from 11.75 to 12.0. Hans Reiche discussed it in Jan. 1999 issue of The Admiral's Log (newsletter of the BNAPS Admiral Study Group). He reported variations in the horizontal perforations from 11.75 to 12.15 and in the vertical perforations from 11.75 to 11.9.
