For anyone who read yesterday's USPS Facebook page, it was announced that the 07/10/2013 episode of the game show "Jeopardy" features a category of 2013 US Stamps.

For anyone who missed the episode, a YouTube version is available at the link below.

I find it interesting that the first clue is at 4:08 in the video and doesn't continue until selected again at 8:18 and 9:10 and finally as the last clue on the board at 9:32. It just goes to show that the contestants had little interest in the category.

I watched the clip. Why do the contestants have to prefix their answers with 'what is', 'who is' and so on? They sound as if they are asking a question instead of answering one.

Terence, that is the format of the show. Presumably the clues given are the answers to a question and the contestant has to ask the question for which the clue is an answer.

Hi rohumpy,

Thank you. Now it makes sense. I had never seen the show before as I don't normally watch game shows. Be a long time before I watch one again.

Not again. On July 30, 2013, the game show Jeopardy will have additional stamp-related clues. Haven't the producers of Jeopardy learned that this is an obscure category for game show contestants? But then again, that's exactly what they want I suppose:

Here is the Jeopardy board for the 7/10/13 show. The category was 2013 Stamps.
