The name Downey Head was coined from the name of the photographer who took the original 3/4 photo. The 3/4 view didn't go down well with the public hence the side profile GV issues from 1912 onwards.
The same goes for the name of QE2 Wildings named after the person who took the original photo. This image did however go down well with the public!
