Has anyone visited www.stampworld.com ? The catalogue has some excellent listings and images of stamps from many countries. I have only begun to peruse the site.

It's an interesting site, some of the organization of it is a bit bizarre and not overly intuitive, but one could say that about any catalog. has a lot of potential if more people help to contribute to it to help fix errors or expand things like descriptions of designs and the like so that it is definitely more searchable for topical collectors for example. |

The website is operated out of the country of Belize
The number of images they have is pretty amazing. I wish they had a topical search.

Well I have discovered that it is pretty awesome. You need to register to get the features
Topical and keyword search. Yes
Each stamp design can be clicked on for more info and it looks like you can add your own articles and links and vatiety info

Sorry for all the posts. This is something I have been hoping for for a while.

its not using a Scott system...air post is not C## for example. Seems to be influenced by Michel more than anything else, with maybe a touch of Gibbons

For those who are interested there is an excellent catalogue right here on the forum. It's not complete just yet but getting there if he can keep up the pace. Just type in "Nethryk" and "Scott". The quality of both the images and the factual information is hard to beat. |

But for a long while there has been an excellent Online catalogue that is growing as we speak. It is the brainchild of one of our members no less and is superb. Anyone can add to it and help it along. Great thematic sections too. http://www.stampsoftheworld.co.uk/w...of_the_WorldLondonbus1 |

Both of those sites are amazing. I must live in a fog not to have ever seen either one. |
