I just bought one on ebay that goes up to 1992 which is much better than my Minkus that stopped in 78 (I think)

Is this a pretty decent album? I don't actively collect Canada but have a lot and this album appears like the Canada version of the US Minuteman.

I never did like my Minkus album anyway so I'm going to switch everything over to the Scott when it shows up. At least it will have years grouped together with regular and commems unlike the Minkus right?

I see it also has the provinces in it so I'm happy about that too

any thought?

thanks

Minkus albums, like their catalogues, show the stamps issued for any given year including regular postage, airmails, postage dues etc. This is a common format world wide in both albums and catalogues.

Scott chose to be different (which I like) by first separating stamps into categories and then listing each category by year. So you will find all of the regular issues together, airmails together, postage dues together etc.

The Canada Master and the Minuteman albums are similar in style and format. They are good albums for the average collector as opposed to the Scott Specialized albums that are for the more advanced collector.

Supplements are available from Amos: http://www.amosadvantage.com/scottonline/find.asp?

And by retailer such as: http://www.collectors-one-stop.com/...untry-canada

Thanks Timm

I never like how Minkus has a full section of "regular issues" and after that a full section of "commemorative issues"

At least with Canada, some of the stamps looked like commems to me when they were actually regular issues so finding them in the album was difficult at times. I also prefer having the Scott # on the page
