Last year, Lietchtenstein joined the LNY bandwagon. Unlike the other countries' issues, theirs have a unique feature. From stampnews.com, "For the first time a postage stamp is appearing in silhouette form. For the purpose the face design by Stefan Erne was cut out using state-of-the art laser technology."

I could not help but bought both years' issues. The 2013 one is similar to this one:


BTW, it's interesting to note that readers of Canada Post's "details" magazine have voted at least twice that their LNY issues are least relevant to the Canadian society. This is even though Canada has a sizeable Chinese population. I guess the world's post offices are just after the potential revenue they can get from the Chinese???

It is designed to look like a ChineseRed Envelope. It is in "cut paper" style

The current set of USPS Lunar New Year stamp series is really beautiful and I enjoy them a lot.- I have set aside a topical collection of Lunar New Years stamps and Chinese Lunar Year Red Envelopes.
