Error In Scott?

The 2013 cat. has Switzerland # 54 valued at $500.00. The 2004 cat. has it at $32.50. I'm thinking the 2013 goofed with an extra zero.

I wouldn't doubt it, as my 2009 Worldwide Scott says $42.50 (used), and my 2012 Classic Specialized Scott says $500 used, but only $135 on cover. I agree with you that there is an extra zero involved. (I actually hope I am wrong, as I have a used copy of that stamp.)



There is a note in Scott's that "Forged or backdated cancellations are found frequently" on many of these issues.

If the $500 amount was in the 2012 cat, you would think someone would have called and they would have corrected it in the 2013. Maybe I should call- I've done it before. I've spotted many errors in Scott over the years.
