A thought about Steiner pages.............
I've just spent a good bit of time at the Steiner and Subway websites and trying to figure something out.

Assuming the printing is on one side of a page, and I was looking to collect the world - EX the USA - thru 1955 or so, how many pages would I end up with? I'm thinking a good 5000, but I have no clue.......... What do you speculate?

Hello mobilman
On my Stamp Albums Web cd (Steiner) I have Worldwide including the Classic Era as extra and some U.S. Specialized "It's over 50 000 pages". And I bought it about 6 years ago. So from this you can figure out it's much more than 5 000 you will have to print. I hope you have a laser printer. Daniel

Edit: I just figured out you just want the Classic Era less US. Let say between 5 000 and 8 000 pages.

Yikes! Assuming I could get 250 pages in a binder, I would need about 25-30 of them!

On the other hand, supposing I only printed out pages for which I have stamps? That would probably cut it in half or thereabouts.

I print on 67 pounds cover stock and I fit about a 100 pages in a binder. Keep in mind that when many pages are fill with stamps if you have too many pages the binder won't fit in the casing.

With the 1 1/4" heavy duty Avery binder, I'm about 2/3 finished,and on target for ~ 45-50 binders @ ~ 175 Steiner pages/ binder for a WW classic collection 1840-1940 (-1952 British Commonwealth).
