OK, I'll admit it. I am really a sucker for the oddball items. And here is one that I just had to share. The International Pancake Race from Liberal, Kansas to Olney England. Dated February 6, 1963.




Leaves me with bundles of questions about the event that prompted this one. Wet feet anyone?

Anyone else have a favorite bit of whimsy to share?
