I'm using Steiner pages and am looking at a souvenir sheet of two (Scott Nos. 2591 and 2592) that is mentioned in Scott but not numbered. It appears that Steiner provided a space for this sheet on his pages but he provides spaces for two New Years souvenir sheets of 2 - one dated 1996 and one dated 1997.

The sheet I have was issued in 1996 (as a lottery price!) for New Years 1997. I can't find any mention in the the Scott catalog (I'm using the 2006 edition) of any other New Years souvenir sheet that would fill on of the spaces.

Can anyone provide guidance as to which space "my" souvenir sheet was intended to fill and what should fill the other space?

Thanks.

Eric

Sorry for posting this in the wrong forum. I asked the staff to move it to World Modern.

It is mentioned in the 2005 edition after the listing in the notes as a lottery prize. It is also preprinted on Minkus pages but under 1998 as year of issue. Hope that helps a little.
