I just bought a 1250ii plate block.

Unitrade states that less than 50 full panes exist with imprints. I'm wondering if that means that less than 200 PB exist (50*4) or that there is still 50 full panes remaining plus other PB from other panes.

It means 200 total.

I was lucky enough to get my PB and OFDC with the BP from Canada Post on my standing order before they stopped issuing them.

I have even seen someone selling full sheets with four corner full inscription plate blocks which would make it a matched set for around 400 dollars and they had 3 sheets available. I was tempted into buying a sheet, but I then realized that this is not a collecting interest of mine. It appears that there are only 200 such plate blocks or 50 such matched plate blocks since there were only 50 such sheets in total.

3 sheets for 400$...not a bad deal. Unitrade as them listed at 1200$ for a full sheet with inscription.

Probably $400 per sheet (not for three).
Problems with this issue for sure. Notice the strong doubling on the top two stamps.

Catalog says it's common and does not merit any premium.

Minesweeper, your right about the "ghosting" being common. The point I meant to make was that this stamp had printing problems. That is probably one reason for the very few that were issued with plate blocks.
