I have begun some research into local post collecting and am considering starting my own local post. The reason for this is that I enjoy making cachets, rubber stamp markings, pictorial postmark collecting, and occasionaly using cinderella's on cover. This seems to be a natural transition for me to enhance my outgoing mail, cover collection, and be creative all at once.
