Scott Specialty Album Labels were once printed on a nice fabric material which mounted easily. You could remove the label if needed and it was easy to remove any residual adhesive.
The new Scott Specialty Album Labels are printed on cheap flimsy paper and good luck to you if you ever need to remove that label.
It ain't coming off without extreme effort and never cleanly. The new labels are nearly impossible to remove.
I always purchased Scott albums because of their quality. No more if they're going to produce cheap crap!!
I have noticed that as well. Also the general quality of their albums is down. I bought a set of pages last year that had to be special printed- they were awful. Looked like they'd been run off on a copy machine at Kinko's. Some of the illustrations were almost just blobs. I have switched some of my collection over to Palo albums, fine quality, color illustrations and they follow the Scott order of listing.
I had quality problems with Scott specialty binders and specialty album pages ordered last year. After returning two specialty binders that were torn and a set of pages that were bent, I finally called Amos customer service and suggested strongly that they look into this apparent quality issue. I also have started switching some of my collections over to Palo albums because of their exceptional quality and ease of use with the Scott catalog.
