Cover Missing From Kansas City

I'm surprised they would have either a 24c Jenny or a 10c Lindbergh they would be willing to put on a cover. I would have expected them to simply give you a replacement FDC with just the new Jenny stamp and added an apology letter.

Either way, you got a great cover, and she definitely went above and beyond good customer service. I guess they have extra money from all those $2 stamps being used to mail at the 1-ounce rate!

So, USPS gave you a nice Christmas bonus! Thanks for posting the pic of the cover.
