I was 'trawling' the net and come across the following webpage. It has not been updated since 1999 and is a remnant page. i.e. the main/index page has long gone. The reason I am providing it, is because it provides a useful list to help identify the issuing country of those hard to determine stamps. http://geocities.comlu.com/Rhea/stampid.htm Edited: I have added a new address in a following entry. - stamporator -

I could not open the page with Internet Explorer. However, with Google Chrome I had no trouble! Very helpful page,

I can see that some of you have probelms accessing this 'orphan page'. As this page has been discarded by its original creator, I have move the source code and added the page to my website. Hopefully, Windows Explorer and other programs can now get access to this list. The direct link is: http://www.stamporator.com/Stamp-identifier.htm- stamporator - |

Both worked fine for me. Internet Explorer. I added both to my Favorites for future reference. I figured some countries in the first one may not exist anymore. They were,by the way, Two different pages. |

Hi TinMan,
Although these two (2) pages are hosted at different sites (different colour/layout, etc..). The contents are 100% identical - right down to the source code. As I cut/pasted the original source code into a page linked to my web site.

Thanks for the Info. stamporator. I didn't pay any attention except that I saw it was two pages. I didn't even get a chance today to look at them. Maybe tomorrow. |
