GDR-----Welcome to the board ......thanks for the pictures of the collection . Most of it is common stamps with no value. There are a few areas like the recent Germany that have high values and complete sets which help in the value ,but most of the collection is common material. Over all the value of everything is about $200.00 ,there are small groups that need to be checked for maybe a better price ,like the China and cancels on the Hong Kong stamps and a few others stamps which can increase its total value.

GDR welcome to SCF. Despite what floortrader said above and Never the less, the Albums look nice. Depending on how much you paid for them determines if you got your money's worth. If you just bought them hoping to get rich. You probably "Got Had" otherwise it look like a nice collection. The Mounts look like they are on the Mint stamps and if there are any on used stamps it might hint they are or may be valuable. There isn't much money in stamp Collecting. It's a Hobby, something for fun, like anything else. A place to pour your money into.

I do see some higher valued items in the Germany Air Mail Section (Scott C55 and several C56). You should have lots of fun discovering what you own. And, like you guessed, there are some significant Rhodes items (Scott 34 pays for the whole album.)

Looks like a nice start to a fun collection. I don't see many duplicates, and it is mostly already organized. Have fun with it and please post some of your favorites and any discoveries you make.

I didn't notice the "ii" at first. Very nice. I checked my Scotts, and it is relatively common, though nice in a set of (3). The Scott 2009 price for Mint is the same as the standard version, $2.00 each.

Keep searching and posting. Lots of fun stuff in that collection.
