Don't take this the wrong way, but it looks like someone gave a kid a piece of paper and a crayon. |

Since the British Guiana 1c magenta was one of the most publicized stamp finds and is so rare, there have been many 'facsimiles', 'reprints' and 'replications' made. However, I have to confess that this replication appears to have come out of the incubator a little before it was ready! |

Is this a joke?
Anyone can see this is a rough hand-drawn sketch of the stamp. |

I like it. I would put it in my Big Blue which keeps me smiling. That "stamp" would keep me laughing. |

This is the "Do It Yourself One Cent British Guiana Stamp" kit. The easy to follow instructions come in useful. Sorry Roscoe but your One Cent British Guiana isn't a real one. There have been homemade "stamps" used in times of emergencies but your one is not one of them. |

redwoodrandy has already expressed interest. I'm sure he would consider a purchase... at face value of course!

The mega millions lottery is poised to hit 1 Billion dollars shortly. First the lottery and then the 1 cent magenta. What a night! |

Mega Millions Lottery at about $680,000,000 tonight. If no one wins, may hit US $1,000,000,000 by early next week. Absolutely amazing, and quite ridiculous, I may add! If my ticket wins, I plan to buy a few stamps ... |

Hello welcome to Stamp Community! Quote: whoud any1 know if it has counterfeit value? The value of your stamp or fake shown is minimal, perhaps 50 cents or maybe $1 if somone was interested in all the different kinds of fakes and counterfeits available for stamps. Otherwise, not so much interest though. The real British Gianna 1c Magenta-coloured stamps is shown on Wikipedia here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Britis...a_1c_magentaPic: To post further stamps, best to get them in the correct forum so people interested in those areas or countries will see them. USA in IS foprum areas, Worl modern in world modern, etc. Start up a new topic for each question if you can. |
