This maybe asked somewhere else but I didn't find it. If so I apologize. My question is this what is the easiest most detailed stamp album to put US mint stamps in? I have an album for my used stamps, but my mint stamps are in a shoe box and I would like to put them in an album to show them off. I don't want to hinge them, I would like to use some other form of putting them in the album.
In my opinion, the Scott National Album Series is the best for this purpose. I use Scott mounts, and they fully protect the stamps and look good doing it. Now Scotts also puts out a "hingeless" album series, which is great, but significantly more costly.
The Mystic hingeless album 1847-1935 for $89.95 can't be beat. Then you can get other sections as needed. Or, depending on the years of your material, you could start elsewhere
+1 for the Mystic hingeless albums. I recently moved my mint US collection to them and have been pleased. I have the first three volumes covering to 1984.
