Not sure about this, is it a first day cover of Newfoundland #234?

And does anyone have information on the red-gold seals?

May 12th 1937 was the first day issue of that stamp, according to what I see in the catalog.
No clue what the see is. Looks nice though

May 12th was the Coronation of George VI, so I would guess that the seals are related to that event.

I believe these seals were produced solely for the 1937 coronation of KG VI. Similar seals were also produced for the 1939 royal couple's visit to Newfoundland, Canada and the United States.
