Looks like it is from a lighter cancel mark or a stain

It is darker than the stamp colour itself...part of the cancel on the stamp...

I think only one cancel on lower part of stamp.

There is an other light cancel or stain that covers the upper right side of the stamp. Even the white of the margin is darker and, this, in my opinion creates what you see on the forehead
