Hi - Can anyone tell me how to achieve the zoom feature for images in ebay listings? Is this a third-party function? I'm ambivalent about the way ebay has changed but thought I would give it another good try to sell a few things before I abandon it. And will investigate selling on this forum too.

I do my listings on the "long form" on ebay and I get that zoom feature automatically. I have had different "views" while creating listings in Firefox vs Explorer and have suspected that made a difference. I have had instances in which some listings didn't get the zoom feature and I don't know why. Some of these ebay procedures are a little mysterious.

I host my own photos and attach the photos to the description via html. The attached photos are enlarged within the descrition thus the zoom feature really isn't necessary.

It's automatic, just make sure your photos are as big as possible and the page will do it itself, there's nothing you have to manually enable or "chose" when making the listing :)

I used to do this until I saw how much of a pain it was on the mobile version of the site and the app. Now I make sure they're all in the gallery.

Thanks to those who responded - I did post some items for sale and the zoom feature appeared as promised. I was confused because it seemed that some listings did not have it.
