I filled out the online form for a catalogue but I hate when they have online forms with no confirmation message. Have no idea if it went through or it didn't.

Looking at some of the stuff in this catalogue, I don't think I will be doing much bidding on this auction. Way too rich for my blood.

got my catalog 4-5 weeks ago. Not enough time for me to save up 100 grand..darn

Those are auction estimates by the auction house/seller that appear in the catalog. I have a feeling a lot of those stamps may be bought well below the estimates. I don't see any indication of reserve pricing in the catalog.

Watermark, you are correct. "But" I have a feeling that there is a small group of deep pocket buyers chomping at the bit to get at his collection.

Also, when I saw that #15 FDC go for $13000.00 in the Longley auction this past weekend I know anything can happen.

I think there is surge of interest again in the hobby. Now that the economy seems stronger money is flowing. I think that is part of the reason this auction is happening now.
