Hi,
Lots of good advice here, and may I add.............
Buying without actually seeing the stamp (or whatever) is a chancy situation. However, after buying/selling on
ebay for 13 years, I can offer you some guidance that will lessen the odds of you getting less than you bargained for:
- Read all the auction's fine print. Often major qualifications (to you) are written in the smallest print in obscure places.
- ASSUME NOTHING. If in doubt, ask the seller a question.
- Check the seller's feedback. If there is fewer than say 100 transactions or less than a 99 percent "good" feedback, walk away.
- Be prepared to spend whatever amount you bid. Do not bid more than you feel the item is worth.
- NEVER jump into an auction thinking the item will not come up again. Trust me, it will.
