Looks like just a perforation error. Nice find though. What's the Scott number?

This addition helps to emphasize on the stamp that it is a Canadian stamp that was printed/made in the U.S.A. Since many early Canadian stamps were printed by the American Bank Note Company in New York, NY., U.S.A., does that qualify them as Americana?

I think American Bank Note printed stamps for countries all over the world. Many of the beautiful early engraved stamps from Central and South America were produced there. Let's face it...when you're good, the world will come to you.
