To the original poster. It was the above statement on why I posted what I did. You state that you would not mislead a buyer but in your sale description you state "It's the real deal" and without a certificate from a legitimate and well established entity you simply can't make that claim.
I am hoping they are real and I hope you
inherited a world class collection as we all would love to see some scarce items that most of us only see in auction catalogs.
But I stand behind what I said earlier in that you should be the one getting the certificate and not dumping it on the buyer. Otherwise start the bid at .99˘ and let the market decide and I'll guarantee with no certificate the price realized will be that of a reprint.
