I was wondering if anyone has any experience using the CWS Worldwide Supplements in place ofHarris Worlwide Supplements. I have a several volume worlwide collection in Harris Citations updated until 1997. Itsvery difficult to find Harris Worldwide supplements for years 1998-2004. Is the CWS a good substitute for those years? Do they fit the Harris albums. Thanks in advance.

With patience you can find those elusive Harris Supplements! The one that might be the hardest to find is the ones from 1999 and 2000 Here's the 1998 and 2001 at Subway. You can call them about the others, you might get lucky.

Golden Valley Stamps has the supplements back to 2005.

The Harris ones are much better than the CWS supplements. However, I have noticed a slow decline with the coverage of the Harris supplements. Through the mid 2000's they weren't too bad. The last two have been pretty bad with some key countries not being updated. Still for under $20 its hard to beat. How do you collate your Citations? In order by country or by era?

You could use the CWS as a cheeper alternative but I would seek out the Harris ones. The thing that probably would not work out to well is the coverage overlap between the CWS and the Harris as Harris is a roll of the dice as to what they are going to update on each supplement. You might have several years overlap in one country and miss 5 years of another country. I have been able to recently find all of the supplements less the 1985 back to the early 70's on ebay. Also make sure you have the 1997 supplement and not just pages that go to 1997, that could be the 1998 or 1999 supplement. I keep the supplement cover pages at the front of the first volume just so I and the next owners know what supplements are in the set.

Also before you purchase all of those supplements you may want to check out the steiner pages. After I updated my citation albums I started to convert to the steiner pages. Now I just need to add on to the house to make room for them.
