Give it a try on your own.
Match the positions of the letters, as well as if there is a "ray flay" (a missing ray at the 7 o'clock or 10 o'clock position), or an "O" flaw (a bit of white below and to the right of the "O" in ONE.
Here's the online reference:

When you open up "I-E," you'll see that it's a good match for Plate 2.

C.

thanks Scotzm :) at least I got one right... more practice I guess. I will compare your id's myself and thanks for the terrific link. So far this site rocks. Just left another I had been a member for a long time and was absent after I sold my collection. The members were great just as I remembered but the new mods were obnoxious... suffering from what I dub nerd rage... block someone (me) because I posted a question without a scan (scanner was broken and not much better now as you can tell) and telling people to get a real job and buy a real scanner because there is no excuse for pathetic scans in 2014... this to a 72 year old man asking for a simple answer to a simple question. I tore the mod a new one (politely of course) and got banned for another week and had my post removed for "violating the rules of proper behavior in the forums for criticizing a moderator". What a joke. I quit the minute I got that one. Thanks for all your help and if I can help at all I have some good knowledge of GB... Penny Black plating was new to me.

Ok gordmer, glad to assist. Nice to know there is someone with a bit of GB knowledge like yourself. Comes in handy when a second, third, etc opinion on a GB stamp is needed.
Shame on that forum you left... everyone wants to be a moderator on some sites it seems. Glad to have you aboard anyway. Also glad to know you are using what you have for scanning purposes. Adequate for most purposes and that's fine.
